Bits N Pieces brings it's musical puppet performances to you or you can use our PuppetWorld Playhouse to hold your party.

Classic stories of "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Hansel and Gretel", "Peter Rabbit" and "The Wizard of Oz" are available for your party or special event. Marionettes, glove puppets and shadow puppets are all in the lighthearted performances. Beautiful stages and scenery fill out the show and fit in any room. Afterwards the children can make a set of souvenier puppets to take home.

Party includes a 30 minute performance, complete with scenery and staging,  and then a 25 minute workshop where the children actually make their own puppets to take home!

The Wizard of Oz: The Wizard has questions for you: Courage comes from where? What makes love strong? How do you think smart? Can you find your way back home? Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet Theatre goes pint-sized with glove puppets in this rollicking good-time puppet production. There’s laughter and merriment on both sides of the rainbow with Bits ‘N Pieces’ Wizard! Every student sees the show and builds a puppet.

Hansel and Gretel: Old world marionettes perform in Engelbert Humperdinck’s famous operetta. Puppeteer Jerry Bickel sings the score live and presents the timeless fairytale with classic string puppets from Prague.  The puppet operetta is staged in a tiny toy bakery shop where the goodies are made.  Dusted with sugar this confection is a childhood treat. In the workshop, you make gingerbread pop-up puppets that become live boys and girls!

The Musical Tale of Peter Rabbit: Peter Rabbit learns “Mother knows best!”  Peter not only gets a taste of fresh vegetables but also of life and the perils of trespassing in a forbidden garden.  Children are delighted as they watch the thoroughly Scottish Farmer McGregor in hot pursuit of that rascal Peter Rabbit.  Pete manages to save his own tail and learns the valuable lesson – “It’s better to be good than bad!” 

Jack and the Beanstalk: Fee, Fie, Foe, Fun! A Giant is loose in Cloudland. Jack climbs the magic beanstalk skyward. If Milky White the Cow can remember how to wind up her tail and talk, she can save the day!. Marionettes, big and small, perform together on stage in this traditional Celtic puppet play. Bits ‘N Pieces presents classic puppet fun at PuppetWorld Playhouse. JACK AND THE BEANSTALK combines storytelling, books and string puppets. In the after-show workshop students make a souvenir puppet.
